    ... only to find that we'd lost Nia's camera. We took the room apart but it was nowhere to be seen. We concluded it had been packed into a bag. We left the hotel in a taxi rather later than planned for our 10am train and only just remembered once the taxi set off that we'd left valuables in the hotel safe!     The snow monkeys were amazing! They have no fear of tourists, despite insinuations of their ferociousness. You can walk right up to many of them without them scampering away. We were surprised by how many baby monkeys there were — dozens!
