At 4pm we ventured out again and went down to the beach at Byron and had a lovely walk along the beach. The surf was crashing along the shore and many people were enjoying the sand. We disembark from the rear of the QANTAS flight to Ballina/Byron Gateway Airport and greeted warmly by family and friends. We loaded up the car and drove home. This really was Matt and haz's AMAZING ...

... having a BBQ at the hostel that night which started at 6 so around 3 I decided to head up to the lighthouse. It had been nice to go the other evening but we had arrived literally as the sun was setting so it had quickly become dark and I couldn't really see much.
