Big waves, beautiful white powdery sand and baking hot. Lots of people enjoying the water and sunbathing, and the coastline itself was fantastic! Loved every second of it. We decided to do a walk up to Byron Bay lighthouse, which takes you up along the cliffs to see some great views. Along the way we came ...

But leave we did, so we set off along Coastal Highway 40, then 38 which had occasional sea views but plenty ...

... four of us as we left the next day for London again. The end of our trip is nigh.

Had a busy Tuesday really after we dropped our bags in our hotel room. I bought some shoes I had been hunting for, at Harrods non the less and a skirt somewhere else. Back to the hotel to change and meet Ben and Jana (Jane and Graeme Thomas’s son) whose wedding we missed on Easter Sunday cos we were in Aus. We had a couple of drinks then took them out to dinner. Really lovely ...
