      ... hwy 1 at Oxnard and further on at Point Magu saw the Naval Base where missile testing is carried out. Near Malibu we saw many fishing boats and houses on stilts at Malibu beach. Traffic got very busy by Santa Monica, next was Venice . By this time the traffic was horrendous so we missed the beach which 18 years ago was fog bound when we were there.       ... have been the last time he plays at Angel Stadium (he is a superstar of this game). Every time his name was called or he touched the ball or batted he got a standing ovation... not only from the NY fans. Anyway fairy tale for him as he hit the only home run of the game.
