... dancing before and a concert by the Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club. They put on a fabulous show. And it's such a shame to know that it is their farewell - or adios - tour.

Anyway, if you can, please send an email or a response to this to let me know the blog is actually getting out to you.

... anyway!?). It was a relief to get off the plane but it was hard to walk with swollen legs and feet. After a quick shop at Duty Free, it was through the gates to baggage claim. We had to check our bags in again for our domestic flight to Wellington. All of them were under the limit of 23kg, except for Dad's which was 23.3kg. Apparently 300g is still too much over so he was told to take something out before his bag could be checked in. We had a snack at the ...

... watch the kids watch a parade for the first time. At night there was a light show, which was lots of fun and a great way to end the day. Next day we were at Disneyland. This was so much busier but after our day out yesterday we had worked out the fast pass system and managed to get around just about everything we wanted to. I even went on the Matterhorn (had nightmares about this ride since riding it as a nine year old) Loved all the rides, and the kids ...

... BIG. (30 mins later)...have just finished watching the Disneyland fireworks. Wow! Spectacular. We watched them from our 6th floor balcony, which is directly across the road from DL so we had great views. A lovely way to welcome in our first day in LA. Very spec! Tomorrow will be a big day...Disneyland, and from what I'ver heard its a loooooong day. I hope the kids don't go nuts buying plastic trash. I hope I get a bit more excited about being in a theme park. I hope ...

I went on the coaster TWICE! N, S, Y! and me. Pictures attached. It was fun especially the loop!

Last night I went out for a drink in downtown Disney, the House of Blues, with Adam and my father. As usual, my father can talk with anyone anywhere and made friends with the couple sitting next to us. I got a new T-shirt from the house of blues which I am wearing in today's pics.

This morning we got out relatively early ...
