    ... to see if we could get on the main ride there (it was a 2 hour long queue earlier – longest queue in the park we’d seen). It was the Radiator Springs Racers, which looked fun but unfortunately when we returned, the queue was still an hour and a half and we had places to be! Cars Land looked fantastic all lit up though.

    ... have been the last time he plays at Angel Stadium (he is a superstar of this game). Every time his name was called or he touched the ball or batted he got a standing ovation... not only from the NY fans. Anyway fairy tale for him as he hit the only home run of the game.     ... holy mother-of-pearl population growth. The crowds were crazy. Line-ups were crazy. The fun factor was much less. We chugged along; ate a lot of ice-cream, and finally saw the ever popular Parade. It was awesome, but by the end of this day, none of us had any interest in saying for the 9 PM fireworks. Done!     ... headed back down to the park to catch the nightly fireworks. I had underestimated how much time we had in the bank here, because the fireworks don't start until 9.30pm, so we were looking at a couple hours of thumb twiddling, or, we could ride baby ride at California Adventure.
