... never been there before, seems huge, but it is really only a tiny snippet of Disneyland itself. We went on the Jumping Jellyfish, Silly Symphony Strings and King Triton's Carousel. Just three rides felt like a whole day, as 3/4 of the time was probably spent waiting in queues!

Elijah and I plucked up our courage and went on Pirates of the Caribbean this morning. I think it was all a bit 'dark' for him, but we both quite enjoyed it, once the two 'little' waterfalls were out of the way! The bit that gets my heart racing in these rides is when it all goes dark, and you don't know what is about to happen to you (completely beyond your control) ...
... be fading fast so we asked him what would he really like to do again. Cars! So we left Disneyland and crossed to California Adventure-land. Fast passes for Cars shuts after a certain time so 40 minute queue!. Luckily or unluckily he fell asleep walking to the ride. We baked in the sun holding him asleep, and he woke just as we got to the front. Got on the front this time so he could see better. It really is a great ride ...
... movie elements on it, like a movie screen, and the sounds are all around you, and you are engrossed. They even had jets of fire! We made it out of there VERY close to tears but there were amazingly none there at the end (there had been some during the 15 hours that we were at the park, of course). Anyway, then we got in the car, threw pajama-clad kids into the back and dove for two hours! What a way to end the ...
