    Today we hired another car and drove to Hollywood to go to universal studios. We went on Jurassic park, The Mummy, Despicable Me, Transformers and a universal tour in a trolley. We watched three shows. One was special effects show were they showed you how special effects are done.     ... pleased that it was closed. We ended the day with dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. We learnt from our visit to the one in Hawaii that like every restaurant here, the portions are huge, so we were satisfied with just an appetizer for our main. White Chocolate and Raspberry Truffle Cheesecake is now my new fave! Tomorrow we are going to Universal Studios which should be fun, although there is meant to be a storm hitting tonight, carrying through to tomorrow, so we shall see how it goes. ...

    Disney California Adventure Park

    Day two Disney adventure started badly with our alarms not going off, feeling lousy from little sleep and topped off with aching feet. Still we were excited once we'd got on the bus which we'd decided to do to save a bit of walking.
