      ... see our old house (currently rented out) and have lunch with an acquaintance who had stayed with us in Australia in January. We got to do all those things, including getting a coffee at the shop where our niece was a barista while living in my parent's home for awhile. (We stopped in a pet gift store to have a little look and thought they had a fur rug on the floor - then it moved! Check out the picture of this humongous dog!)

      ... we are, we thought the local derby might have a good atmosphere. That wasn't really the case. The atmosphere in the stadium wasn't quite as good as at the Canucks. The Ducks have been performing well so far this season with a 100% win record, until the game we saw. The fans didn't seem to have much to say about their team not performing, so there wasn't a huge amount of audience support. The Ducks themselves were quite frustrated at not being able to score a single point though, and ...

      ... to be eating his nuggets and chips lunch which we thoughtfully got for him at about 3pm. We completed all of our gift shopping today so if we didn't buy it today, you're not getting it.       ... grass as a clip from the Lion King was played and when Jack Sparrow made an entrance, also appearing to be striding through the mist on the water, balls of fire and jets of flame shot up from the surface of the water as canons fired. We were about 20 metres back from the edge of the bay, but we could still feel the heat and were still dampened by the spray from the fountains. (You can tell by the detail in this paragraph that this was a favourite of ours!).

      ... The kids got in as many hugs as they could get before Gpa and B headed back to the airport and we hit the road. Thanks for coming to hang with us. What a great 4 days that the kids will remember forever.
