... refreshing dip and then onto a highly recommended nearby little town called Carlsbad.

This town was a short 15 minutes drive from our RV Park. We parked the RV and headed off into the little town to explore. There were loads of surf style clothing shops and seaside village feel stores. ... so would definitely recommend a stroll of a few blocks to visit there. There was a Denny's, a steak house, and a number of takeaway shops, along with a 7-11 within a few blocks range. Of course you could also head through the entrance to the plaza between the parks and go to Downtown Disney which had a number of nice restaurants. The other location we enjoyed nearby was Garden Walk. It had entertainment areas we didn't make use of, and a variety ...

... empty nesters from Belmont. Their son races motorbikes so they know Maitland well. So many Aussies here at the moment, school holidays and all. Everytime you talk to one their accent sounds quite broad. Sometimes I even think, "Crikey mate, is that how I sound when I talk?" Sat with some Melbournites on the Australia's Wonderland style rapids ride and he was having a joke with the attendant. She did not appreciate nor understand his humour. It ...
