    ... buildings, drop parachutists, fight fires and assist with marijuana crop abatement. I think he likes it because there's never a dull moment!

    The traffic in LA is horrific - especially in the afternoons which is exactly when we arrived! Gary was very cool & collected & drove confidently with the help of Kathy, Colleen, Google Maps and Waze as "backseat drivers"! We eventually got to the hotel which was only 3 blocks from Disneyland, so in a good location.

    ... hops than I ever knew before and I know exactly what to order when I get home. It's a shame that most breweries don't ship out of state, let alone out of the country.

    One of our favourite TV series, Sons of Anarchy is filming it's last few episodes not far from where our friends live, so we went to visit some of the sets that they use before they are shut down for good. Unfortunately we didn't see any filming in action, but we did get to peek through the bars of the car ...

    ... day session and the night party tonight gave me a better appreciation of just how big of a deal it is. If this is the hype at Disneyland in September I hate to see it at the end of next month when Halloween actually rolls around. And these costumes were off the chain. At one point we nearly mobbed a woman wearing a Elsa/Ana coronation dress (I can't remember which is which) until I realised she was a guest and not a staff member. The dress was amazing. ...

    7am the usual morning lineup... breakfast in plastic cups, quick showers, running late as usual, and then we were off! The walk to Disneyland seemed shorter in our excitement - I'm sure it won't be on the way home! We got through the ticket line quicker than we'd expected and we were in! 16 hours to explore!

    ... Austin, Liz and John for 2 days before we hit the road and head North. Saturday night we squeezed in a great night at the still "retro style" Dodger stadium.
