... a mess. I could not read texts well nor type in response. Finally, I got a hold of my sister then mom. I was crying, my head was throbbing, and I was so dizzy. Of course, what could my mom do 5,000 miles away. I took some medicine. It didn't help. Oh yeah and Jamille couldn't take me to the airport so mom and dad took me. I had to say goodbye to Jamille with half my brain. I felt terrible leaving like this. It brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it. ...

... on this private little beach that we hand to take 150 steps down to get there. That was probably the most pleasant part of the journey. I think we all had wished we had just spent the day there. From there we headed home to chill at the pool for the evening. A day or two later we headed down to the Fan Fest to watch the USA vs. Belgium play in the quarter finals. Given the size of the man, I can tell he is someone who loves his food as much as I do, so I was willing go with ...

The morning, once again, came early but we managed to get on the road by 6:00am. The drive went smoothly and we didn't run into any traffic. Although we did run into a caravan of Uruguayans with their flags mounted on their windows. Jorge couldn't resist the temptation. He hit the gas and sped up to them. He had Bruce hang the Costa Rican flag out the window, in all it's glory! If you recall, Costa Rica didn't just beat Uruguay, they annihilated them. As ...

... occasionally stop along the way to jump in the ocean and cool off with a fruity cocktail. My man knows how to roll!

By the seventh mile I was starting to lose my stamina but sucked it up and continued on. After all, we will be climbing Machu Pichu in a couple of months and need to toughen up a bit.

We were probably a couple of miles out when we came up on a road closure. The rain fall the last few days was so intense it caused a massive landslide. There were a ...
