... the weather allowed. Went to gym and walking machines other times. There is food laid on from 6am until late up on deck 9 with 3 pools one just for over 18 year olds but all are always full. We have breakfast up there but as soon as they open before most people are awake and before the kids get there. We have lunch there too on some days and dinner down on deck 2 in the restaurant. Our table is of 2 other couples of our age, all nice enough, you have to dress ...

Today is our second last day. We had a quick look through Deniliquin, and a coffee and morning tea. The coffee was good, though not as good as at Mendindee. We we headed to Benalla to wash the cruiser. It was a little dirty and covered with bugs. We arrived in Tatong around 2. A night of semi-camping. We have normal showers, toilets, table and chairs, but get to have a final night in the camper. It was great to catch up with the Judy & ...

After this gig I picked Anne up from the Bowls Club and we returned to Jaffa who had been on caravan watch-dog duty.

... came up to me and said that it felt like they had known me for years rather than just a few days and that I fit right in. What a relief! Haha the banter between the three of us continued the entire week and I felt right at home! Benalla was an average town, with not too much in it to do or to see. Everything was very green, which I loved to brag about to people at home since a foot or two of snow had dumped on them in a matter of a few hours. (I'm sorry to hear that haha) ...

    Rail trail bliss

... and started bounding along beside me until they crossed the trail about 20m in front of me. I was lucky enough to catch it on my gopro which I had on at the time. Another wonderful part of the rail trail is that every now and then, sheltered picnic tables have been erected, often including a water tank to fill your drink bottle. What Victoria lacks in shoulders on their roads (yes, I need to let it go), they more than make up for with their magnificent rail trails. All ...
