Today we had a big sleep in until 9.30 am, it was then a mad rush to have showers and breakfast as we had to be at Brown Brothers Winery at 10.45 am for our tour. Consequently we did not have time for cappuccinos. We arrive at the Brown Brothers Winery with 5 minutes to spare. There was a group of about 20 people also waiting for the tour. We were lucky as we were give a private tour by ourselves. Our tour guide was a lady by the name ...

Today is our second last day. We had a little look through Deniliquin, and a coffee and morning tea. The coffee was good, though not as good as at Mendindee. We have normal showers, toilets, table and chairs, but get to have a final night ...

And of course I have to do a wine tasting at Browns Brothers ...

... great. I didn’t get to a real Beatles concert back in 1964, but long-time mate Jim Delaney found the money somewhere and went, something he has never regretted. I was too broke to go. A bit too late now Jim to put it on my bucket list, so the copy band was next best, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. After this gig I picked Anne up from the Bowls Club and we returned to Jaffa who had been on caravan watch-dog duty.

... came up to me and said that it felt like they had known me for years rather than just a few days and that I fit right in. What a relief! Haha the banter between the three of us continued the entire week and I felt right at home! Benalla was an average town, with not too much in it to do or to see. Everything was very green, which I loved to brag about to people at home since a foot or two of snow had dumped on them in a matter of a few hours. (I'm sorry to hear that haha) ...
