      Started the morning with a walking tour of the original old town in York which basically focused on the Cathedral and the parts within the old Roman walls. The walls dated from around 300 AD and are still in very good condition. York was originally founded as a Roman garrison. The old cobbled lanes and shops date from around 1200 AD and in one little section called The Shambles the first and second levels of the shops and ...

      ... for putting us up for the past 4 months but it is time to get our own place and also be closer to town.

      Our next planned adventure is heading to London for the Diamond Jubliee weekend. The Tuesday is a special public holiday here so figure that we should make the most of it.

      Looking forward to the family and friends that are heading over in the next few months.
