          ... home. I guess for me that was a main reason to go and visit Melaka. I was hoping to get all sorts of feelings that are missing during my stay on the road, when I sometimes need to feel like they are people next to me ( physically) that cares, even tho when at that stage that might be an illusion, it does help and I wasn't disappointed...
          Now, that I'm fully recovered with the home sickness, I'm am ready to head off to a busy city called.... ...

          We only stopped in Melaka for two nights on our way down to Singapore. It's a small town that has narrow streets lined with traditional Chinese merchant houses, our hostel was in one of these houses and had the most amazing sofas in the communal area along with free tea, so we were very happy travellers! There wasn't much to do here a few museums and churches, so we spent our days ...

          ... down a taxi we loaded all our stuff in and headed out to the bus station to catch our 1.5hr bus to Melaka!...it only cost us $3!!!           ... we were the only people singing along to the delight of the musicians and quite a crowd assembles).
          Our last day at rooftop is very chilled, we do some washing in the roof garden area and take a stroll out for cold drinks. We go for dinner at Geographers cafe and have a really nice meal with some funny live music. The guitarist is excellent, playing cover songs on an Epiphone Les Paul over some pre-recorded piano and drum tracks while his wife sings. ...
