Från paradiset till "helvetet"
... var de gigantiska landsköldpaddorna Napoleon, Josephine och Patrick. Napoleon var gruppens äldste och har funnits på ön längre än själva destilleriet. Vid en punkt är skalet aningen skadat, efter att någon hemsk typ försökt skjuta honom under en kupp 2004. Som tur var led han ingen större skada. First stage complete!!
... then sprinting several laps of ******* Jo'berg airport trying to get luggage sorted out but in the end gave up and hoped it would appear in Cape Town which it did on the last flight!! But finally I coudl relax and enjoy a week with a bit more luxury with mum doing the garden route! I will go into more detail on the garden route next time as I have two minutes left so I've got to love you and leave you!! Enjoy Eng and don't get too cold! :P xx

A Terrible Day
... in arranging our flights, etc. We couldn't have functioned without all this help.
Thankyou's and love to our families and friends in Australia who helped remotely. We need you all badly.
We are currently in Australia again, I will post our rough journey shortly. I will also attempt to fill in the other blog entries, although the notes I've taken are now tainted by a gap in our lives.

Treehouses by the Sand

Dinner provided the red meat lovers with their fix of, what else, the ubiquitous Zebu and a good natured argument ensued as we discovered that the chicken brochettes were actually a mix of chicken and fish. A Hike for a Tortoise
... and shallow waters around the islands keep them away. Still wouldn't have liked to fall in during our inter-island hops on the Salama Djema, though a sighting of the nicer kind, Whale Sharks, would have been awesome (just shy of the right time of year unfortunately). More snorkelling success for our water babies. Corals, fish and giant clams in evidence despite being less spectacular than Nosy Tanikely. The highlight probably being the dinner catch, ...
