... I knew then, that this whole couchsurf was over. I went to bed, but she woke me up to go out.

Me: "So, are we eating out now?"
          Jessica: "I need some carrots."
Me: "I really don't get it."

I just followed her to get carrots. When she picked them up, I asked what they were for.

          "OK I won't get carrots."

It was close to seven when we got there, and as it turns out, we were supposed to be there at six. Regardless, they welcomed us in, and the real fun began.

          ... tour ends.

Fri night saw Dave & Kirsten arrive so it was off to plan the weekend activities. Thanks to schedule changes I have Sat & Sun off, which works perfectly for their visit.

Today we have visited the Longmen Grottoes at Luoyang, which is 1 1/2 hr ride into Henan province on the bullet train. We got up to a maximum speed of 303 km/h, though most of the time it was in the 270-290's.

... like Nyree and suffers from anxiety when a trip is approaching. She said she doesn't feel like eating and can't sit and also doesn't want to go to work. She will go home on Friday afternoon. I bet she can't wait for her 13 hour train trip on a hard sleeper. She is quite happy as she has a place on the train as last time she didn't have a seat. We were talking for awhile and Todd came home from work. He decided to show Morgan some exercises. They did a few ...

... are right in the middle of this city. There was a short film on the history of Luoyang that I was able to watch but nothing else. They haven't got their artifacts in the glass cabinets yet. I walked around and then caught the bus back to a shopping mall.
This mall is very upmarket and just looked like a big department store. It had all the brand names there. I don't know who can afford to shop there. The supermarket downstairs was ...
