... waitress was trying to apologise to me. Before I went into the restaurant there were a couple of boys outside who said "Hello" to me and I said it back. It makes them laugh. I was sitting at my table in the restaurant and then their faces popped up outside the window and they waved. Then a peice of paper came up with "How are you? " written on it in beautifully script. At least it filled in a bit of time while I was waiting for my dinner.

Then I had to walk across the Square to Jin Juan, the school where I will do most of my teaching from now on. I had to stop half way and take a photo of the people still doing their morning exercise - ballroom dancing in the park in the snow. They have to be keen.

There Has Been A Takeover
There has been a coup but there has been no blood spilled. Mikkel, the leader of foreign teachers since I have arrived has given the job up and it has been taken over by David,the fearless Englishman. It was all done very nicely but the job was more than Mikkel could handle as he is still young and learning. Thanksgiving - Chinese Style
There were lots of things different with our Thanksgiving celebrations in Luoyang.The biggest difference was the date as we had to have it on our day off so we held over the celebrations until Monday when we could celebrate in style.
