I arrived in Cape Town on December 1st from Ottawa via Toronto, Atlanta and Johannesburg (hell of a travel day that one). I was planning on spending five days or so in the city. ... Peak or something. Saw some amazing beaches - one that has a guy sitting high up on the cliff overlooking the beach watching for sharks. He has 4 flags to fly - good visibility no sharks, bad visibility so can't see any sharks but that doesn't mean they aren't any, I see a shark but he's not any danger right now, and GET OUT OF THE WATER! Lunch was in Noordhoek at a place called the Food Barn in a the Noordhoek Farm ...

We went to Boulder Beach and the entrance was included so we went into the paid area this time. There were so many penguins lying on the beach in the sun.
