... a human it is likely because they are curious/unsure of what you are or you are swimming in their feeding area and they think you are a threat. Once they bite however, they will likely spit you back out. I'm very happy I had the chance to experience this and help diminish this fear. I will likely lose it if I ever see a shark in the water next to me without being in a cage, but this helped me to understand them more and be more rational.
