... yesterday and today doing some last minute preparations for the trip. I am now completely (I think) packed.

My carryon is filled (literally filled) with snacks, books, and crossword puzzles.

My luggage is filled with clothes and resources for the three weeks of teaching we need to do. I finally feel like I'm ready to go.

Today I went to the Royal Ontario Museum - much bigger than the Alberta one, which you would suspect, given that Toronto has been around much longer than Edmonton and has a much, much, much larger population.

... There was an impressive meat and cheese dish, a huge turkey with all the side dishes you could dream of and far too many different desserts to still follow that big meal.

As the polar freeze continued lives went back normal. School started up again, people went back to their jobs,...
