Yesterday we drove down to Laverstoke Mill which is now the Bombay Sapphire Distillery. We had watched a Megafactories documentary on the restoration of the mill and loved getting to see it and to learn about making the gin. This afternoon I went to the Birmingham Christmas markets with Angus, Becka, Suzannah and Alistair. On arrival we got a cup of mulled wine and a German sausage. The others got a couple of presents, but I'd already done my ...

The tirade of abuse continues and Stirling fires back with a few shots of his own. I don't remember Dickie Bird or even Billy Bowden ever coming back at a batsman like this. Matt's batting partner - and of course, ...

... finish the game at 7/145. I kept for the first 20 overs and probably had my neatest session of the tour so far but the bowlers don't get any nicks today. I offered the gloves to Peter Howes for the second half as he didn't bat today. I don't think I am being unfair to say that most people no longer consider him the number one keeper on tour. He misses several balls and generally looks untidy but he does get a stumping in ...
