... in a pub! We met up with Isy and Ryan's friends and sampled some beer. I had sampled some cider instead of beer! Was a nice afternoon. Today we took Ava to the snowdome! Which I now see is how the British do winter sports! The lack of snow in this country makes winter activities hard! So they have indoor skiing/snow boarding, tubing/ sledding and a section to ...

The final week in Leicestershire brought out a lot of different emotions. Happy to be nearly halfway through my trip, excited to see Bronson in the same amount of time that I've been here, looking forward to my next adventure in Scotland. Matt's batting partner - and of course, ...

... finish the game at 7/145. I kept for the first 20 overs and probably had my neatest session of the tour so far but the bowlers don't get any nicks today. I offered the gloves to Peter Howes for the second half as he didn't bat today. I don't think I am being unfair to say that most people no longer consider him the number one keeper on tour. He misses several balls and generally looks untidy but he does get a stumping in ...

... At number 5, I now go out to join Ross. The opening bowlers are off and are replaced by two very good spinners - one left-arm orthodox and one offie. The leftie is tight - in fact finished with 0/9 off 6 overs and that included a six that John struck to reach his 30. The offie is the better of the two and bamboozles Ross on several occasions. Knowing what a class batsman Ross is, I'm wondering just how I am going to ...
