From the restored viewing towers along it's upper edge you can see to the first mountains of the Pyranese in the distance, with Girona in the foreground and every imaginable shade of red terra-cotta pasted over the rooftops. ... lines(Red,blue and green). Barcelona has such a plethora of sights that it is impossible to cover in 2/3 days by foot. The bus takes us around and we dont get footsore. We also get headphones which talk about each of the places.Amazing. We decided to do the blue line on Sunday and save the Red line which had the more better/touristy sights the next day. ... dressed up as literally everything. There were clowns, police officers, pom-poms, bananas, everything you can imagine. There were a lot of cross dressers, transexuals, and gay people there too. One also has a great excuse to chat flirtatiously with utterly gorgeous Spanish policemen and ask for directions. In Barcelona they are unilaterally lip-smackingly handsome. Our very hospitable waiter also drew us a map of how to take all the trains here :) He was so nice. We left him a tip, disregarding the fact that no Europeans ever tip us.
