... day in Washington. We started the day by getting the metro to Arlington National Cemetery. A very sober place, with acres and acres of headstones stretching as far as the eye can see. We saw the changing of the guard statue tomb of the unknown soldier... There is an unknown soldier for WW1, Vietnam and WW2. E also visited John F Kennedy's final resting place, overlooking the city of Washington, there with his wife and 2 babies. Very sad.
