Waking early, I went for a walk. The mist was rising off the river, and I met a man born, bred and buttered in this county. As we chatted, he kept correcting my English pronunciation!

The Butler Institute of Art featured lots super colorful abstract stuff, plus American Impressionists and portrait artists. My favorite piece was all purple and based on Romulus and Remus (Rome's foundation myth) and I took a video of it (accidentally erased) and there's no image available online. ... father said that the little boy wouldn't stop talking about "Mr. Clown" so they had to come over and meet him. The little boy was really shy but he warmed up to J.P. during their exchange and all four kids walked away happy with coloring books.
