... trying to remember what I needed/ did not need the last time I traveled!

An so the preparation goes on. I feel sort of organised. The house is organised (with an new lodger) and in good order so I will leave with a sense of wonder, optimism, humility and gratitude.
I hope the preparation continues to go well! Not long now. All of a sudden a couple of months does not seem like much time!

... was electric, every-one was pumped up and singing, yelling at the ref. Was a great game even though we lost 3 - 2 and I think I got hyperthermia...........note to self next time wear every item of clothing I own not just half.


The next morning we drove out to Heeding on the wall, which is a beautiful little town only 20 minutes from central Newcastle.

So we expected the cold....well we didn't get it!!!!, it was sunny and warm, very unusual for October and even more unusual it was warmer then the South West!!!
