Travel Blogs from Vientiane
Had a lazy morning with a second breaky at Noy's! Came back to hotel & chilled in the aircon! Wandered around & had espressos at Cafe Benoni. Walked to the Lao Shopping Mall & looked around. Back to hotel & had ice block & beer!
We flew from Ko Samui to Bangkok and then on to Vientiane, care of Air Asia. I have to say that AA have been great all through our travels.
Arriving at the airport at Vientiane, we had to go through passport control and complete paperwork that unfortunately wasn't available on our flight. Chaos ensued with all the passengers …
Good morning birthday boy! Cards opened and no internet to say thanks! In fact the whole street was without power as the electricity company was upgrading the overhead power lines. How has this hotel rated in the past?
At first the location appears poor but it's a short walk to decent restaurants and bars. Also handy for laundries. Nice quiet street. Well furnished rooms and lobby. Good breakfast esp if you get the baguettes just as they arrive from the bakery. seems to be used by 'Explore' for their group tours.
The second time I stayed here I got a single room. OK no TV no fridge but otherwise ame standard and at $15 a real steal!
