    ... of course but not the time for me). I really took my time wandering up to it to take a look and appreciate it. It is very quiet...not many people about and the ones there are being very respectful. As you approach it from the back...this would be the slope that we attacked up. It is stunning...as you go around to the front...you see the entire Douire vallley below...and the statue of the mourning mother...it is haunting and reflects the reality of all the mothers ...

    Up earlyish at 6.30am. Lovely breakfast at 7.30am. Pastries every morning is lovely but I miss my toast and vegemite. Left for track at about 8.30am. Good run there. Interesting parking in parking 36 trying to avoid the mud. I had to get out so two parking peeps could push the car back with Brad driving and them yelling "don't stop".     ... not were from Brugge. Very cold and wet. Feet Freezing. Had bananas, strawberries and half a snickers. Left around 4.30pm for a long roundabout drive home because of police blocking off roads. Probably added at least 20 minutes to the drive home. Had to go through Spa.     ... to clear to a drizzle, then carried our chairs and bags to the track side to reclaim our position before the F1s. Andy returned with an umbrella, but walking back the foam handle broke off. Then I noticed an area of rust on the shaft. A bit rough for what it cost. It kept us from getting too soaked, and after the sun came out we felt quite warm watching trackside.
