... As I am driving towards Bastogne, I noticed that rain seemed to be hitting my windshield rather "softly". I thought it might be snow, but nothing was on the ground. Then it happened. There is a real log fire in the lounge, and the landlord promises to clean it out daily and restart it for us late afternoon. Definitely a plus. Know how much work goes into maintaining one of those.
