Hamish and I took a train and bus up to Each-Sur- Sure. A very pretty region that is part of one of the Luxembourg National Parks. The trees were past there autumn best, but still pretty. We started off by exploring the castle... now a well preserved ruin, that sits above a town that is in the"u" bend of the river Sure. Then we walked along the river banks towards Lultzhausen. It was a track some ...

Sad to leave this campsite by the river. Everything has a artiste's touch, more like a private home than a campsite. Made me feel quite guilty leaving skid marks in the grass, but happy we managed to get onto the campsite roadway without needing a tow. More ups/downs/bends as we headed towards the Belgian border, with wee hamlets every mile or so. As soon as ...

We have a fair way to ride today if we are to get to our chosen destination of Luxembourg. From the Morvan Park we travel on country roads for the first 30km and then pick the toll autoroute near Dijon.

it is a fast ride from here, straight up the A31. The toll ends at Nancy, €8.10 for around 200km. The weather is improving as we go but the wind is very strong. Fortunately it is from the south, pushing ...
