... some safari and to the caves. Very touristy and expensive, so we decided to give it a miss.
We saw some signs later on indicating that there were other grottos so decided to move on to Hotton. We found the place quite easily, and went in. The tour was about to start and there were only six people, so Michael and Melinda decided to do it. Bruno and I didn't want to go as we weren't really interested. We've seen caves in WA ...

"Mike" Ranney who was a non-commissioned officer with Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, in the 101st Airborne Division during World War II at lunch today. To anyone who has watched the "Band of Brothers" miniseries, Ranney, along with Terrence 'Salty' Harris were the two NCOs to start the mutiny against Captain Sobel. It was really cool to talk to her about her dad. Since Friday is the 70th anniversary of ...

... two marine helicopter pilots that were late, because they went to the wrong location. Seems they are here for advanced prep work for Obama's visit next week. Donna had me swear on a stack of bibles that I wouldn't give an opinion of their boss. Just hoping their sense of direction carries over to their job. Most of our tour today would consist of stops related to the "Band of Bothers" ...
