... we did the self guided tour of the abbey, there are some 30 stops. The tour takes you around the ruins of the original Abbey from the 13th century (I believe), through some new buildings telling the story of old and new, through a brewing museum of sorts, and under the new abbey to where old artifacts are displayed. ... which is pretty impressive, which this was not. Stopped in Durbuy for lunch, which is apparently the smallest town in the world, how they know that is beyond me, anyone enlighten us?? It was a lovey little place though.
By then we had decided this would be our last night in Belgium, so headed to Han-Sur-Lesse. A town famous for caves but we didn't visit them, just had a quiet night and a wander round a local market. Off to Luxembourg tomorrow!
