hey guys, I actually don't have that much time to write for you today, because we went to Neuschwanstein castle (the disneyland castle) and it was absolutely AMAZING!!! Words cannot describe how good it was and if I start writing about it I may end up going on for pages and pages. I brought A LOT (and I mean a lot) of souviners because I'm only going to be there once and had so much fun (especially on the 4 hour bus ride ...
Schleissheim, Upper Austria, Austria teiganduketis... a really beautiful and peaceful countryside. We all commiserate with man's behavior to fellow man.
Chilled to the bone, we leave for dinner. We go to a favorite local restaurant of Alex & Richard. It is a country restaurant. Very nice food and a completely local atmosphere.
Alex wants to see a favorite artist at her opening in a local art gallery. She ends up buying 3 pieces to go with one she already owns.

Thursday morning caught a shuttle bus from Cesky Krumlov to Linz which was 350KR. Kinda waste when I have my Eurail ticket, but train to Linz would take 5 hours with 3 changes and bus takes 90 minutes...
Walked around Linz for ...
... the flaw in my plan – yes, I was impressed that she seemed to understand my question, problem is, she understood me well enough to think me worthy of a lengthy and rapid German response, of which I understood not even the first “der.” My translation of it all was that she didn’t know where it was either. Then, it dawned on me, all I had to do was Google it on my blackberry – duh! Turns out I was on the wrong side ...
Linz, Upper Austria, Austria forbes.thompsonI know it is cliché-ish for me to call Austria fairy tale land, but it truly is. Even Linz, which often gets a bad rap for being very industrial, is divided by the Danube River, along which is a beautiful park with walking trails, and is surrounded by rolling, lush green hills, beautiful churches, and a palace sitting on top of one of the hills. Additionally, Linz has been dubbed the culture capital of Europe for 2009. It is filled with museums of everything from modern ...
Linz, Upper Austria, Austria forbes.thompson... reverence
and humility. Over the millennia a new mystery was formed and
only a few chosen ones, like high priests, spiritual masters and
shamans were granted to study it. They were the ones that got a
deeper insight in the secret of THE TIME GUARDIANS. The beings
were referred to as visitors from other systems, protectors or
destroyers and even gods.

Linz, Austria eyre... you could burn it and sit and pray. There was live music playing that was haunting and beautiful, and even a love letter from God! It was in German though so I said the man could keep it, hehe. It was another awe inspiring experience, and I sat for a while but I started feeling really sombre and humbled, and almost started crying just because of the atmosphere! Well now no more churches today I think. I did note that there are English services at 4:30pm every Sunday though ...
Linz, Upper Austria, Austria noni_matt... allowing us to move them around digitally in freehand. We also experienced a 3D virtual reality room, a digital music composition board and many other cool things. We walked around the main part of the city for a while in the darkness before settling on dinner at a Pizza restaurant. Following this we took a tram across the river to enjoy views of the city under the cover of darkness. On our way back to the hotel we stopped off where a laundromat should've been but wasn't ...
Linz, Austria v1213... stamp from Austria, even though we only stopped there for an hour! And other countries where I have spent weeks, no stamp. Funny. Mom and I played a boardgame and talked about where we were, guessing which country we were in at certain times. Then we talked about Austria, and how neither of us knows practically anything about it, including which language they speak! (Austrian or German?). Anyway, we arrived without incident in Munich ...
