Early ferry back to mainland. Back to bus, and starting to get sick of living on the bus during the day and ferries. Stopped for lunch in Noosa. My first surfer spotting! I can't wait to get in the water and surf with them! We had an hour in Noosa for lunch, not enough time. Found the food court (a lil confusing and distracting with all the shopping stores around) ate and headed down to the beach to chill before it was time to get back on the bus.
Continued on to Brisbane. Really wish...
The plan was to wake up early and hit the waves. Only it was a lil chilly so ate breakfast at the hotel instead. They had the BEST pancake maker ever! All you do is press the button and it makes you 2 pancakes, perfectly cooked. Also been craving pancakes so was great to get some finally.
Headed to the beach, and just sat there people watching. Did some shopping. Back to hotel for my hour Harley Davidson Ride. Loved the motocycle. Felt so free. Wasn't until we hit the first red light ...
We went to the Gold Coast for a vacation on the Summer of 2006. It was an awesome trip. Something worth remembering. Along with my family, we stayed at the Surfers Paradise Hotel. We had so much fun because our apartment was right in front of the beach. The joy about it was that everyone was new to Australia and we were going bezerk at the stores, the amusement parks and the sites. It was amazing!!

... its still just that…. Shiny dog ****!!!
We spent two days in surfers as its locally known. Surfers is where the Aussies come for there holidays, as a result the attractions are theme park based. We contemplated going to there equivalent of Alton Towers for the day, but when we sat down to discuss what to do we decided that we could visit theme parks back home and we could spend our money far more wisely. The beach looked like it would be nice in good ...
Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia shelleyandsimmo... matter where I went anyway. I knew that Australia was going to be a bit of a shocker after spending 2 years in Asia, but I really wasn't prepared for how much of a shocker it was going to be. I even spent a week on the expat side of Bangkok blowing what I thought was a lot of money, 10,000B, in order to get used to spending more money. I considered taking out less than $300 from the airport ATM, but it probably wouldn't have been enough to get out of the ...
Surfers Paradise, Australia rcys... there are fewer red lights and stop signs, and thus less traffic jams. Genius. They also have emergency phones on the highway in case of accidents, which seems quite smart as well. If only they drove on the right side of the road here....... We started our time here in Sydney, where we stayed for three nights in a real cool area called Glebe- it's an area just out of the downtown across the harbour, and it has lots of cool shops and great restaurants (best Thai ...
Surfers Paradise, Australia ty.and.bonnieHello from Surfers Paradise! Have been here a week now and its time to move on tomorrow to Byron Bay, only 2 hours down the coast on the Greyhound but heading in the right direction. While we have been here we have been staying in an apartment in a hotel as it works out so much cheaper, the only down side is that it is harder to meet other backpackers, we soon sorted that out as went on a club crawl orgainsed by a group of hostels on Wednesday ...

Beerwah, Australia whitfield... m used to, with slimmer doors, longer carriages and power pickups on only 1 side of the track. The afternoon was then spent catching the shows whilst also fighting Belinda's cravings for overpriced Churo's. First up we saw the Waterski Wipeout show, a fun and exciting ski show set on the Gold Coast in the 1960's. Many cool tricks were acheived by the skiers including jumping from the cable car support tower into the water before barefooting, barefooting backwards ...
The Spit, Gold Coast, Australia v1213... dinners won.

When it comes to teaching you will have a lot of help.

You will feel nervous at first and it may take several weeks for you to find 'your style' but that is normal for any new job anywhere in the world. Once you get the hang of it maybe like me you'll love it more than anything you've done prior. I have a heap of stuff like lesson plans I can send you once you settle in. Buckland's also have a lot of 'stuff ...
