... stop in Walgreens across the road for breakfast foods, marveled at the amazing Halloween stuff, and then headed back to the hostel.
We were greeted with a little note on our bunk bed telling us to speak to the Front Desk. So we did. And ended up being moved into the hostel's private room for free for the rest of our stay! It was amazing news. We celebrated by staying up until just after midnight watching TV in bed. Bliss.

... The fact that he took the time to sit down and speak with us is incredible from the business perspective. This is the epitome of Austin's famous laid back lifestyle where everyone supports local or homegrown businesses. If it's not "local" the Austinites don't want it. Austin is a city that requires more than one visits. I'll certainly plan a return trip.

Anniversary Weekend!
... have to wait. No problem - we waited about 20 minutes and then they gave us suite room 505 - which had a great view of downtown Austin. We got settled in our room, showered and got ready to meet my aunt and uncle for dinner before the symphony. We met at a great restaurant that was less than a block from our hotel called Zax.
