... was used for Italia 90 by the BBC. We both enjoyed the whole experience immensely and the music, dancing, staging, costumes etc ec were all excellent. Two intervals allowed us a couple more drinks and an antipasto platter. Nice.

We stopped at the opera bar after the performance and then went home for a bit if the ashes before bed. A seriously good way to spend our last night of an incredible holiday.

Last night i went to Vivid, the light display in the city. It was interesting to watch, but it was very crowded. They had closed off George street, so there were people everywhere, it was hard to move. I took a lot of pictures. There were displays at darling harbor, circular quay, the rocks and Martin place. The town hall was also lit up.

... races, because that's a thing here. We explored some local outdoor markets and found the outlet malls, which were great for loading up on cheap winter threads. We went to the Sydney IMAX Theatre - the largest screen in the world! - saw the price list and skedaddled right back out. Only when we came out of the theater a huge crowd was gathering around the harbor. We stuck around for a minute to see what all the fuss was about, and all of a sudden they started shooting ...
