... For my last ticket, I chose the sedate ferris wheel. I did feel like a dork riding by myself, but the views were beautiful looking over the Sydney Bridge, the city and the Sydney Opera House. There were only about 3 carriages with people in them, so I don't know why Paul couldn't have come with me - it wouldn't have cost them anything in fuel, and I'm sure he wouldn't have worn the seat out. Today we took the train to the rocks and had a tour of the area. It was a bit boring but the sights were beautiful and there was so much to see! Even the bum I talked to was wearing ...

We visit Victor and Marlene for another excellent barbeque in Oakhurst on the bank holiday....lovely to have a long weekend away from Bondi as much as we like it.....great to be around family again and we got to meet 4 ...

Tuesday in Manly and train to Como

Tuesday was different. Rosemary was not feeling well and all was in uproar. Should we go to Hartley's for lunch as planned? Should someone else, I.e. Amr, go to Como to rescue the kids as they got off their bus? Should I do the walk alone and let Rosemary recuperate? Should we cancel the evening's pub date with Lisa and Jerry? So many decisions. In the end it was decided that we would all go to Hartley's, ...
