        ... the coast with some ancient Greek and Roman ruins. It was about a 2 km walk to town, or we could catch the water taxi. We took the later. We being just the four of us today. Pauline is not a good traveller on the water (which makes cruising interesting) but small boats are worse for her, so she and Mike stayed on the ship.         ... from Pompeii as well as old statues! on our way to the museum we stopped to get a bite to eat. we ended up finding the most delicious chocolate crosaunt that we have ever had! it was sooooo good! it was a mixed crosaunt half chocolate and half regular, with melted chocolate inside, as well as some on top with nuts and powdered sugar!!!         ... an hour. I spent this time trying to call up the tour company we’d booked tomorrow’s Pompeii and Vesuvius trip with, to confirm our pick-up details, but didn’t have any luck in getting through.

        ... of 118 separate islands in the Venetian Lagoon linked by 409 bridges and separated by 177 canals. It is considered to be one of the world's most beautiful cities and all of Venice and the Venetian Lagoon have been world-heritage listed by UNESCO.
