... isn't Western! The hotel was very clean but the bed was a futon on a raised platform, very challenging with my bad back and knees. We went for a walk along the road to the beach. It was used by fishermen so there were a few boats on the shore. We didn't take any photos because it was dusk and very misty. We could see the vague outline of low mountain islands in the bay. Can't lie, woke up today feeling a bit seedy. After a reasonably big night at Oktoberfest last night, we were all a little groggy this morning. But we all boarded the coach in good spirits nonetheless, and on we went back to Austria. After a short drive (only around 2.5 hours, we arrived at our first activity for the day. We were up and about at 8am this morning for breakfast. We had all planned on leaving around 10 to get to the lake but by the time we had all sorted out bikes it was closer to 1030. 11 of us left for the ride. The trip we were told takes 60-90 minutes each way but is mostly flat with the occasional hill but nothing too strenuous.
