... so just carried on. The weather stayed nice all day so we got a long day on the mountain before heading down to middle station to meet up with the group for a drink. When we got back to the house we decided to check out the sauna and it was amazing! So good on the muscles! ... for the same reason. We had lunch at Bad Ischel. I had a beef goulash with a dumpling and Jenny had pasta with mushrooms and cream, not the Italian way. This small little getaway town, felt like Austria's very own "Banff" if you will.

We met with 38 other people, including Ben's mom, dad and uncle John. And got to know more about the Freudenthaler history. Hearing stories and sharing photographs from the past, especially special for us were photographs of Ben's grandpa Alfred.

The monastic community of Melk is more than 900 years old and black robed Benedictine monks still stroll amid the marble sculptures and frescoed walls. It is also a prestigious monastery school with around 900 students. It is a day school from elementary through high school drawing on the surrounding countryside for it's student population.

... nails the target and then his second arrow some how manages to stick itself in the butt of the first! No word of a lie we should have just stopped there as no one was going to top that shot. The course was 14 targets long and was full of all sorts of crazy Styrofoam critters. We even at one stage had a bear on its hind legs. That target I totally nailed in the balls!
