Well this ends my rambling account of our incredible trip. I keep thinking I'll wake up in the morning and it will all have been a dream because this truly is the stuff that dreams are made of. Ciao for now, thanks for reading and I hope this gave you a few chuckles and warmed your heart as much as it did mine ...

I think I've already described what this trip has meant to me in my daily rambles but I have a few last thoughts before we start our long journey home. The kids at the table behind us were squealing with delight! It tasted like a frozen egg white meringue of some sort but the best thing about it was the visual effect!! They also kept bringing trays of bread that consisted of red onion crispy thin breadsticks, spicy salami rolls, some whole grain raisin buns, ...

... were no intersections. Poor Tim. He finally just stopped talking to us and was relieved, I'm sure, when we reached the coastline and got back onto the highway. We were then on talking terms once more. Our last stop was in Pizzo where my cousin said they had the best gelato and so we made it a mandatory stop. We were not disappointed. The boys ate chocolate Tartuffo and I had a tiny cone, filled with lemon gelato and encrusted with a bright yellow ...
