Via Pietro d'Abano Terme Abano Terme, Veneto, Italy, 35031, 049-823-1111
... I was walking and imagining how people used to leave here for centuries starting from Medieval times when Venice was the center of the Europe. Walking through that almost empty and peaceful tiny streets I could feel all the history of this gorgeous town. This was the REAL Venice.

I was just walking through this tale enjoying the morning when at about 10 o'clock 1000 of noisy, loudy tourists filled this wonderful place and began to ...

Venice, Veneto, Italy fedck... into Mick I spilled the wine ,right? But get over this the guy took the picture of us with the wine spilled anyway I am attaching both and you will see. Met a lot of nice people today, (Americans) because we were wearing our Cardinal stuff. I did not know there were so many Americans. You are afraid to talk because right away you get the cold shoulder from the Italians so you just stop talking to people and you ...
Venice, Veneto, Italy lucy1279... qualified, specialized in treatments with a vast range from "Hydrokinesis" (exploitation of thermal water) to "Fango-therapy". If it is true that the Spa gives a spiritual well-being it is also true that they can be appropriated cures for solving physical problems, such as deambulation, convalescence after operation, skin and also cardiovascular problems. I dedicated my treatments to my legs by choosing Fango as medicine, my husband, instead ...
Abano Terme, Veneto, Italy claire_paris... over 5 miles.
A lot of people told us we'd visit Venice regularly over the next few years while we are stationed in Aviano....and I think they might be right. Venice is an enchanting place, and the food is pretty darn good as well.
Allen and I are hopeless romantics, so this place seems to suite us well. ;)
Venice, Italy nikmarks79... suburb. So all my lovely friends back home were right when they said all the walking I'd be doing would cancel out at least a portion of all that irresistible Italian food! Venice is everything I expected but much more beautiful and rustic. Canals are everywhere - the big Grande Canal of course (which our hotel was on, right near Ponte di Rialto, perfect location), then a handful of large side canals and many smaller ones. Someone did tell us how many bridges were ...
Venice, Italy travelkat... eat together, and then afterwards we would all go out together. It was also really nice because (for once) there was a big mixture of people there - not just Americans. Our group consisted of Americans, Canadians, Brazilians, Israelis, Australians, and a guy from Denmark...pretty cool! The dinners were also nice, as they allowed me to find other people doing the same things I wanted to do, so we were able to tour around together ...
Venice, Italy klweissOur dorm, we discovered early the next morning, had very strange rules. The check out time was 9.30AM and from this time until 3PM they locked you out. A bit odd but we were more concerned by the fact that at night they lock you in! We wanted to see Venice in the early morning light but at 7AM the gates were locked and there was no other way to exit the property. A bit of a concern if a fire broke out! When we finally escaped we found Venice as beautiful as we ...
Venice, Italy eatdessertfirst... But, I don't usually fly within Italy. So, we get to the airport in Rome, and I show him the copy of my passport, and my driver's license. H looks at me weird, but then calls his supervisor, and they OK me to get on the plane. I am completely relieved, and can now actually enjoy my flight. We get to Venice, and it is amazing. The weather was amazing (kind of cold and windy because of the water) but absolutely amazing. The best part about the day was that ...
