Perhaps the one disadvantage to touring the region on your own is that some tours include a stop at an oyster farm for a tasting and a bit of a tour, as locals claim that the peninsula produces the best oysters in the World. It's something that we weren't able to find on our own, so instead, we did the next best thing - gorged ourselves on oysters at every restaurant we could today, to the tune of thirty between the two of us!
