Day 9: Milan - The last supper
After an uneventful train ride, we arrived at Milan at around 10am. Our hotel was technically 20mins walking distance but we opted for the cab because we had loads of luggages, like usual. Anyways, the room wasn't really yet so we left our luggages at the lobby and headed to Vestistock Due, an outlet store that was a stone throw away. There wasn …

... was a market! It was incredibly busy and I've never heard the phrase 'ciao bella' used so many times. The last day I explored some more and visited agencies, once again a great way to see the city. I was also able to see some of the churches briefly and Sforza Castle. And you no what is fun.. Having to drag your suitcase all over the city.. Simply splendid. ...

... The others were all Italian and I think for most of them, this experience was some kind of excursion to soak up another culture. A little while in, I think once all the guests had arrived, the restaurant brought us out the first course: ...

Great service. Donato is really helpful with all the suggestions and directions. It is located in the middle of Corso Buenos Aires, wit loads of shopping. There is this fantastic gelato shop right opposite the hotel. We took the taxi from the train station costing about 20 Euros because we had loads of luggage.
Our room was relatively quiet, didn't heard much street noises.
I had paid so much more for a room in other Italian cities and they were nowhere close to this one.
