When we went closer, we saw baskets of medium-sized silvery fish with an occasional basket of squid with the eyes staring out at us. Smaller fish were tossed onto some tarps to dry. Bigger fish may have been already separated out because we really didn't see any. There were already lots of fish on other tarps drying from previous day's catches I think. They seemed to be spreading straw over ...

A woman at the buffet asked if I were English and told me about her tailor-made trip to Myanmar for nature exploration. She thought we might be an Explore group because of the mix of ages and said the more upscale group tours generally had all older people. It is ...

So we got here and settled in: Rosemary washed some clothes. I put my food in the refrigerator and moved the clothes drying rack to get better ventilation - we spread out so that we could find our things easily, and, oh, we put our valuables in the room safe. After that we went to the beach - we may have gone at separate times - I ...

The family run place actually let us have the happy hour price all night, which became fully apparent when we tried getting up and took our first few sloppy steps hours later. Day 17 - at the beach

This morning we walked outside the hotel
and turned right so we could see the names of the other hotels close by. We
spent the day on the beach and late afternoon we walked along the beach and
bought a few more gifts. This evening we had our complimentary dinner, it
started with an 'Amuse Bouchee' of tempera vegetables, I think it is meant to
be something light to get your taste buds going but never mind, a free 5 course
      was a nice surprise.
