From Vaduz, we caught an uneventful ride to Feldkirch, a quaint medieval town on the western side of Austria. Once we dealt with logistics of money, snacks, and bathrooms, we didn't have any time to explore but Dave did get some quick shots of the Peter and Paul Church. The train ride to Innsbruck was just as beautiful as the ride to Sargans. The Austrian countryside is lush green, ...

We arrived in Salzburg, birthplace of Mozart and setting of A Sound of Music. We enjoyed a guided tour of the town past many of the sites of the musical, through the Mirabell Gardens where the fountain is. we enjoyed a traditional lunch of Cheese Kransky sausage and ...

... train-strike just to cap it off nicely.
Treas of course was a total nervous wreck. It was just like tearing down Conrod Straight at Mt Panorama in the rain as we blasted along at 120-130kph into an all-encompassing cloud of spray, while the locals ripped past with another 50-60 kph on board..... as we tore past the simply endless conga-line of trucks sitting precisely on 90kph up hill and down dale.
I have to say though that I was pleased to arrive safely here and relax, ...
