    Dinner was at our hotel, the Royal Palace. As a novelty, we started with shopska salad. Then we had vegetable soup, followed by freshly caught mackerel.     ... let about five vehicles through from each lane, in turn. Just as well because ten lanes became two. Why? Well, because the vehicles had to be "desinfected" and there were only two sprays. We then had to stop at another booth to hand in vehicle documents (again) and pay for the unsolicited shower – unfortunate timing as ‘Bo had just been washed. We held our breath, hoping they didn’t require Brutus to be showered. He wasn’t.

    ... was discovered during WWII while they were digging for .....something!? Not too terrible exciting. We did have a chance to meet Stefan's mom at the museum- that was cute! Of course no English! Our last stop with our sack lunches was at a Russian Church - one of only two in Bulgaria. It was stunning! Then it was back on the bus for a four hour drive. Nesebar has a cute little old down out on an isthmus, which is where we are staying. We have a nice balcony and ...
