Have moved to the coastline we are seeing a very different Turkey a lot more tour groups with huge crowds everywhere. Enjoying the coastal towns Kas is a great little place where I could spent more time. Spending the day on a boat is so relaxing. less than a week left in Turkey then heading to Paris. Have enjoyed seeing different parts of this great country. Can't wait to come back one ...

... toilet; it was to go in a little flip top bin....eeewwwww! So the little water spout came into its own.......I want one at home now! What a brilliant little invention. The tap is situated at the rear of the toilet to the side and when turned on, a squirt of water hits you right where it's needed. It does a wonderful job. ... couldn't wander around like she always does and we stayed sitting or laying down the whole trip. We stopped at some places to swim. Then she took a nap. I slept too (it was nice). In one of our swimming stops a small old boat approached us with a very old couple (maybe in their 80's). The husband was rowing and the wife was offering some handicraft. ... a thing like the smell of salt water, the lapping of the boats against their moor ropes or the sound of a wood dock can trigger such potent emotions of gratitude. The older I become the more I appreciate how these fine men taught me to be a husband and father in what they say and by what they don't need to say. Dad and Bill, that beer on the beach is a toast to you both from a grateful son and son-in-law. You both are in my daily prayers!
