It was freezing, a sneaky cold wind froze everyone, but a fair few intrepid tourists were there and a warm 'coco de potatas' sprinkled with icing sugar from a cosy bakery helped me to thaw. ... elegant hotels and patio gardens frothing with greenery, arbors and fluffy air plants in hanging baskets. I finished my sandwich and headed for Soller...my feet now stiff and leaden. Soller carnival was a splash of colour and I was delighted to spot the children from Port Soller dressed as gambas (prawns)!
