... fishy" about the place (pun completely intended!) and I was right - the water was full of all sorts of creatures, big fish, little fish (no cardboard boxes!), crabs, snails of all sorts of colours, eels and jelly fish... In fact, in true John form, he managed to get stung on the ear - which was quite painful for a bit but seemingly fine after a pint! ... school, James drove us to the east coast to Cala Mesquida (beach). In typical fashion, on the last day we find what was probably my favourite beach! Beautiful sand and crystal clear sea (it was genuinely like being in a pool!). The water was on a strange ledge which made the waves come in from all over the place - lots of fun. ... and had dinner at La Boveda, and stopped for "Spain's second best ice cream" in town. Palma held a "nit de art" (night of art) and was very very busy. A few galleries were open late and there were a few extra exhibitions. We stopped to watch a group of dancers and musicians fuse different types of dance including ballet, tap, flamenco and street. After all of that excitement, we had a final drink in Havana before bed - last day of school tomorrow - ...

... the ocean this time- it was beautiful clear water with little skeleton like fishes swimming around... a bit rocky on the floor in some places though- I always managed to find the rocks of course!

After heading back to the hostel to collect our bags, we caught a cab to the airport, bought some chocolates for the office, got on the plane and then we were back in London... just in time for work on ...
