We arrived in St. Wolfgang to steady rain. At first we were a bit disappointed, however, the warm rain actually created a unique, interesting experience. Swimming in cold Austrian lake with warm rain coming down was a real highlight for me. ... outside of Salzburg about 50 minutes by bus. That was an awesome trip! Back in the late 1800s a climber/explorer discovered a huge cave in one of the mountains that was filled with ice. The cave system is actually about 22km long, but the ice cave we walked through was only about 1km.
