... of white stuff labelled 'lardo' in his mouth then about 3 secs later a look of horror, gagging motions and out comes Lardo.........melted.........so not a fan of Lardo, but the other 2 ways of eating pork were great - pate and kebab :) Totally flaked early, ready for a crazy last 36 hours of skiing and Mozart dinner concert.

... was so deep and powdery that it felt dry and I just wanted to jump in it and have a roll around, so I did.


The skiing was so different to Australia, much steeper runs and no ice or slush. Big bumps and powdery snow up all the sides or big drops into trees. Schnapps in the bar......yucky, like straight metho.

... There had been a snowfall overnight and the scene was Christmas card perfect: beautiful white snow on roofs, land, fence tops, trees higher up with iced leaves and two rugged-up people walking across the landscape. It was the quintessential European snow landscape scene.
