    ... Museum Island etc are always mega popular. We never queued for the Fernsehturm but we were told that the view from the Siegessaeule is just as good imho. This year they have had a good sound and light show near the Bundestag building (which is also worth registering for to go up on the roof) on the history of Berlin.

    ... lost, I finally find our surprisingly really nice hostel (and only 10€ a night which is a steal for Berlin!) we hit the ground running and went straight to the Turkish market to get some brunch, of course we got lost and after aimlessly walking for a while we settle to eat lunch at an Italian pizzeria since we were starving!     ... is learning English at school and my broken German. The neighbours were chucking out a perfectly good sofa bed and a small bookshelf which they offered us. Sure! We replied. We gave them 15 euros and a bottle of Australian wine and they were happy. The sofa bed is in excellent condition. Apparently they up sized and were going to throw this one out.     Today was another driving day. It started again very early and we had to lug our luggage all across Prague trying to find the bus, on cobblestoned roads. It wasn't easy and was a really bad start to the day. When we finally made it on the bus we were sweating and tired. This made it quite easy to fall asleep straight away on the bus.
