So many people have told me that Ibiza is expensive but really it's not. As an island destination in the Mediterranean it's actually a lot cheaper than I thought it would be. On the face of it Ibiza looks like every other Spanish Port we've visited. Lots of yachts, high rise apartment blocks and scruffy older buildings. There is an old building on the top of a hill over looking the port which is a church, or a hotel, or a fortress - it's really not clear. We are, aparantly, in the township of Sant Jordi. After a reasonable nights sleep (the music was not as loud as we thought it would be) we
ventured back ashore to fill up our 20 litre can with water which we will use to clean the salt off the boat – we need to be quite conservative with our fresh water as we don't know when we wlil back in a marina.
