Adriatic Adventure 17-11-14 Limburg to Amsterdam ferry

Today I was up bright and early and looking out across the town of Limburg it sure looked like a good day ahead.

A bit like the fruit and cereal. We get a huge plate of cereal, then they ...

After a tablet before dinner, I slept well and leapt for another tablet while I still felt ok. I couldn't believe I was feeling good considering the whitecaps. After I'd had a shower, it was a different story. I was decidedly seedy, so nibbled on some ginger and headed for breakfast. I knew not to have eggs bene, and opted for pumpernickel with ham and gouda on it. That ...

This morning the seas were choppy - that's number 4 on a scale from 1 (glassy) to 20 (insanely suicidal).

It sounds harmless. It looks harmless too. And it is harmless, unless you're planning on taking a shower, then it becomes something all together different. If you want to know what it 's like to take a shower on a ship that's traveling through choppy seas with a 68 knot head-wind, picture these things...

    1. You ...
