Bush Bashing to Bandung

A travel blog entry by bronwyn.donovan

... of happiness. The performance ended and it was back to the hotel from there. With an hours free time before dinner I fiddled around on wifi. Now dinner was interesting. Our group heading to a local restaurant where we were told we would have many small meals placed on the table from which we could choose. Some of these meals included dried cows lungs, curried brains and curried liver, dried beef and chili, beef rengang, (whole) squid curry and mixed spiced vegetables just to name ...

... tiresome.
Take us to the hot springs please chauffeur! These hot springs are a complex of maybe a dozen different pools but we head for the largest. As usual we attract a lot of attention and Terry poses for some pics. It's quite busy but still enjoyable.
Next stop is a tea house where we expect to see tea plantations but actually it's a cafe overlooking a stage where a drama group is rehearsing a performance.

Though the shops had good fabric outside of the building, many of them were closed and we knew we'd have more options under the circumstances inside.

There's a lot to see inside Pasa Baru. There are ...

... all. We've had some huge downpours that have had us standing at the end of our covered driveway still holding an umbrella. I love the rain and I brought rubber boots! Kyle and I even got umbrellas here just in case....we have a big one for the pair of us, and Kyle has a Pirate Gun that when you pull the trigger the umbrella opens up, and mine is a Katana hilt with the press of a button opens up.

We enjoy things as we always do ^.^ with smiles, laughs and a whole lot of ridiculous!
