    ... about 40 minutes. Neuschwanstein, as is probably known by you disneyphiles out there, was the inspiration for the disneyland castle. The interior is covered in paintings and sculptures that depict various tales from the operas of Richard Wagner, a 19th century german composer.

    ... camp. The Dachau concentration camp was the first of its kind in Nazi germany; it opened in 1933. It was the only one to remain open continuously for as long as it did; it was in operation from 1933 to 1945, when it was liberated by the US army in April.     Amazing! King Ludwig II was crazy but he has an amazing castle that was made for him. The weather was not the best but the castle was impressive non the less. Went inside but no pictures of course. For it's massive size the castle is not finished! King Ludwig died (possibly murdered) before it was finished so they stopped production.
