We booked a studio via and it was great. We had stayed at Metro Suites previously and the inside was we just didn't have any views....only the carpark....but it was quite a bit cheaper. The kitchen was fine - fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave and 2 plates on the hob. The bathroom was a huge walk in shower. We had a seating area and big bed comfortable bed. It was very quiet at night. Also had free access to a gym and pool around the corner. Would recommend

After a good nights sleep, I booked myself onto a last minute wine tour on Waiheke island. The island was beautiful and we had the perfect sunny weather. Nothing beats getting drunk on quality wine with a bunch of strangers.

min från hennes hem. Vi tackade Ellis för allt och kramade om
varan. Vi vinkade av henne och gick sen in och checkade in våra

Arrived in Auckland early evening - didn't do much except have dinner and a quick walk about to get our bearings. The hotel is located near the Sky tower which is quite impressive with the top part changing colour when it is dark.

On Friday we met up with Sue and Richard - two friends …

We touched down in Auckland at 1pm, 39 hours after leaving the cottage in Devon. I was trying to work out when I first developed a desire to visit New Zealand but as hard as I thought I couldn't pin point a time. I do remember spending hours looking through the lonely planet guide when working at Cotswold Outdoor in South Cerney when I was about 18 …

Back to Auckland and touring the Museum

Not a very exciting day today. We left Tauranga around 8:00, had a 1/2 hour stop in Thames, and then headed to Auckland. The weather was in and out all day: sunny, then cloudy, then misty, then drizzly, then thundering, then sunny again. Before arriving in the city we had a stop up a hill at the Michael Joseph Savage Memorial (NZ's first Labour...
