We arrived in Glasgow at 11a local time and proceeded to take a taxi to our hotel. On the recommendation of one of the employees (Jim Grant) at our hotel in Skogar, Iceland who was from Glasgow we had booked 2 nights at the Citizen M hotel right in the city center. We arrived and sure enough we are smack in the middle of the downtown area which is great! As we checked in we could tell this was a pretty modern place ...

All I was interested in was the Kelvingrove Museum, and from the map in Georges Square, it was quite a hike away. We spent several minutes ...

I did forget to say that we had hardly slept during our trip back but I never had such a marathon sleep in my whole life - not far from 20 hours! Even the children were still asleep, which never happens! The only thing that must have woken them up was Natalie having gone to the kitchen to check the time on several clocks and watches (the time in our bedroom hadn't been set yet), rushing down the stairs and pushing ...
