... my backpack while trying to take the perfect picture of Glasgow station, I think it was worth it. Then onto our third train for the day and we arrive at the start point for the walk, Milngavie. We check into a 5* premier inn grab and quick Italian dinner and then straight to bed as tomorrow will be a long day. Ok, wait, I went straight to bed, Aneri said she couldn't sleep at 7pm so watched Saturday night ...

I woke up around 7 today. Kurt texted me at 7:22, said he was packed up, showered and was ready to go - they didn't have to be to breakfast until 8! Where is that efficiency at home!? First port of call was the Glasgow Green park. There was a site as part of the park called ...

... Inveraray, Loch Long, and Loch Lomond. The weather closed in during the afternoon and we travelled through some heavy rain. We returned the car to Hertz at Glasgow International Airport and then walked about 100 metres to The Holiday Inn which was very convenient. An interesting finish to the day was turning on the TV and watching a live concert from Edinburgh Castle being performed from the stage which we had seen being erected earlier in the ...

... and almost too easy. Well, it was. Emma looked at a map after a couple stops and thought that we were going the wrong way... which we most definitely were. So we stopped the kind train man named Davie and asked him if this train was going to Stirling and he simply put his head down on the seat and laughed at us. Clearly our first train experience was not going to be as simple as we thought. Luckily, we could get off at the next stop and hop on a train to Camelon. ...
