Hamish and I took a train and bus up to Each-Sur- Sure. A very pretty region that is part of one of the Luxembourg National Parks. The trees were past there autumn best, but still pretty. We started off by exploring the castle... now a well preserved ruin, that sits above a town that is in the"u" bend of the river Sure. Then we walked along the river banks towards Lultzhausen. It was a track some ...

... the forest to the village. Spectacular. Unfortunately our caravan fridge died a lonely death during the 37degree heatwave, so we had a whole day trying to try to get it fixed, before eventually resorting to buying a WAECO fridge. ... Before I figured out how to switch on our Traveling status, I received multiple requests to host. Because we were in the process of moving, and because the requests always coincided with our own travel plans, we haven’t hosted anyone on our own. However, we’ve really enjoyed the experience of co-hosting (with Karin) the surfers we’ve met so far. Our first Couchsurfer was a British man who is traveling through Europe on foot to make money ...

... chairs, but we made it. The hard part was putting the bike seat on one of Karin's bikes. It took Karin and I almost an hour to do it, and it was only possible because Karin happened to have a spare part that should have come with the seat but didn't. Now we're ready for a family bike ride when the weather decides to cooperate.

P.S. We didn't take pictures, so none of these pictures has one of us in it.
