And OFF we go again!!
It was a much more easier Goodbye to everyone on the UK this time, knowing it wouldn't be so long till we were back.
Got down to Calais the night before to make for an easy passage the next day on the Ferry which was very quiet and non-eventful.
We didn't head too far on our first night, it was quite late and driving on ...

... produces spectacular views. Lots of camping cars stopping for mid morning break and admiring the view.

It's sunny as we arrive at the ferry terminal and queue to board. Once on the car deck, we are greeted by a lovely deckhand who told us that yesterday, they had to be towed out of harbour - but today was much better.

... to Southampton for his habitation service and some other odds and ends to be done. He will be cleaned inside and out and be readied for his next trip. The plan is to take him to Wales to introduce him to Livvy and Millie in the next few weeks. Then he will be prepared for his Christmas trip to Alet-les-bains and the Languedoc. Only seven weeks to go before he puts his French specs on again.

... set of for our next aires campsite at Montville. The drive was good and mostly motorways which were quiet so made it in about 1hour 30 mins, stopping for fuel on way. We got to the Aires in Montville and found it next in the town centre next to large lake with beautiful Black Swans. We pitched up and made tea then me and Anne went for a walk to get some Baguettes and we treated us all to a cake from the local patisserie ( weekly treat).
