Another day of adventure! We started the day slowly then went down to the river Aspe, about 4 kilometres from us, to meet our timing for the white water rafting trip. We had to be rigged up in wetsuits, lifejackets and helmets, oh what a sight! After a briefing by Sebastian we entered the water for our 7 kilometre journey, it was so much ...
This little tourist train is billed as the highest train line in Europe. It is an hour from us up the valley from Pau to Spain and you get up to the embarcation point by cablecar. The little carriages on a 500 mm gauge track run 10 km along the mountainside at 2000m elevation to the head of the valley where there is an ...

baby Rabbits and a near complete terrace. It's massive and like a

(well, starting the process) some pork belly and eventually once the
kids were down had ...
last couple of weeks have been very relaxed as we have become more
set in our temporary home. The building of the terrace really takes
shape which is exciting and and more and more of spring shows! I am
becoming more and more like my Mum as I get excited about all the
flowers blooming! Little Lamb Eloise is doing really well and very
adorable, running over to you (rather than away like the others)
