... round etc. And it was so exciting to see St Jean Pied de Port again, and to walk in from another direction. Just amazing. And such a pretty town. I don't think we appreciated it fully last time as much, as we were all excited and ready to leave on the Spanish adventure. Anyway, this morning we left early - about 8.30 as the final predictions were for afternoon showers, so we hoped to beat it. As we set off ...

... before the walk which also when they opened up an Instagram account (for keeping their fundraising sponsors updated). They also know they packed way too much, he's carrying 18kg and she's carrying about 9kg. I guess this journey will also be about getting rid of the excess baggage in their life (literally). When we arrived at St Jean, we headed straight for the pilgrim's office to ...

at the farm for the Easter break, and boy did it feel good to come
back. A really warm welcome from Gwen and Claire and a surprise of
baby Rabbits and a near complete terrace. It's massive and like a
whole extra house outside! Lot's more flowers and leaves on trees, and
cuddles with the kids and Eloise the Lamb. We started up with curing
(well, starting the process) some pork belly and eventually once the
          kids were down had ...

last couple of weeks have been very relaxed as we have become more
set in our temporary home. The building of the terrace really takes
shape which is exciting and and more and more of spring shows! I am
becoming more and more like my Mum as I get excited about all the
flowers blooming! Little Lamb Eloise is doing really well and very
adorable, running over to you (rather than away like the others)

Been Two weeks on since last post and still all going extremely well. It's really nice to be useful, and be kept (lodging) and money taken out of the equation for this short time. Working hard but under no pressure as you might in employment. We have a great working team with all of us, the guys are working hard at getting the big wooden terrace up at the back and I am doing a lot of gardening. Really relaxing actually, I just hope it all lives ...
