... the Pyrenees was AN EVENT. The wind was SCREAMING at high velocity which was blowing people all over the place. People who had back packs on were like sails tossed in the wind. There was a constant buffeting mostly head-on or sideways that really challenged all.

Again it was a very pastoral vista with lots of sheep, cows and horses as part of the landscape. There were also windbreaks made of stone for animals and people; and stone shelters ...

      HOME SWEET HOME

... purchased postcards and stamps.  All that was left to do was find a small cafe where we could write over a warm drink.  I normally don't send postcards to friends or family, but I had a feeling Yvonne would really appreciate a postcard with a picture of our hike up to Pulpit Rock.   After sending off our postcards, I started to get antsy about getting to the airport.  I knew I would be fine, I had my boarding pass on my phone and no luggage to check, ...

      Back
at the farm for the Easter break, and boy did it feel good to come
back. A really warm welcome from Gwen and Claire and a surprise of
baby Rabbits and a near complete terrace. It's massive and like a
whole extra house outside! Lot's more flowers and leaves on trees, and
cuddles with the kids and Eloise the Lamb. We started up with curing
(well, starting the process) some pork belly and eventually once the
      kids were down had ...

      The
last couple of weeks have been very relaxed as we have become more
set in our temporary home. The building of the terrace really takes
shape which is exciting and and more and more of spring shows! I am
becoming more and more like my Mum as I get excited about all the
flowers blooming! Little Lamb Eloise is doing really well and very
adorable, running over to you (rather than away like the others)
