    ... bought a house here. The port is picture-postcard perfect, the backstreets charming and the boutiques chic. The fine beaches lie outside the town. We walked the cobbled streets noting that very little opens here, as in most parts of Europe before 10:00. Eventually we all decided to sit and watch the 'beautiful people' and to do so we needed to stop into a restaurant and have coffee (8:00 euro for a cappuccino = $12:00).     Arrived in Aux-en-Provence, generally known as Aux, to discover that the last performance of the Easter Festival was that night.     ... We were greeted by Catherine, the Manager who was extremely pleasant and helpful. She informed us that we had been upgraded to two connected rooms (vs the "family" suite we booked). Catherine said we would be much more comfortable and she was right. Our rooms were spacious and modern and had their own private terrace.
