    ... since Today we travelled a short way by bus to the local beach. Very nice beaches full of families with restuarants right on the sand. Just a pity that woman here in France are not very modest especially with this being the more family friendly area. Anyway one of the boys (unnamed) made sure his thoughts were known - I wonder if he will feel the same in a few years time! The water was warm although not as warn as Greece.     What a joy to feel and smell endless lavender and sunflowers side by side - miles and miles of them!



    After a bit of "babyfoot" in a village and watched locals play petanque by a castle, we headed back to Esparron for dinner and a relaxing evening in the castle.

    ... longer than expected: 4+ hours to cover 200km, I enjoyed the mountain drive without traffic and green scenary, to arrive at elevated village with a beautiful green lake and a medieval castle to stay by 7pm!

    The owner of the chateau was there to warmly welcome us, and we enjoyed our stay like guests more than visitors!

    ... on Steven's phone (one that doesn't require an internet connection) showed us that there was a reasonable-looking shopping centre on the other side of town centre (Centre Commercial Auchan Côté Seyne) - about 60 minutes' walk from the ship. With nothing else to do and two hours before the ship was due to depart we decided on an adventure - to walk to the shopping centre, have a cup of coffee and get back to the ship before they withdrew the gangway.
