        ... I have read on Cruise Critic and Tripadvisor that there are two ports that service Toulon; Toulon proper and La Seyne which is 13km away. I believe we are at Toulon because I believe I have seen the tourist train I have read about in the port. It is my plan to take this to the beaches.

It has to be the heat! The tomatoes are (to me ) are so sweet with very little acid, the arugula (they call it rocket salad ) is so peppery you think that someone has put intensive pepper on it.         The performance was violin, Renaud Capucon, with piano, Mikhail Pletnev, to a full house. At the conclusion, the audience managed to clap, cheer, stamp and make enough noise that we were treated to an encore "jam" session between the two. Just wonderful.

        Tuesday is one of the market days in Aix-en-P'ce and we didn't want to miss it. Catherine recommended that we try to get there by 9am, but that didn't exactly work out.
