Going nowhere today. I actually got my running shoes out this morning and went for a 5km run. The storm blew through Besanšon and we saddled up the ponies and took to the road again. One of the things I really appreciate about cycle touring is how quickly you leave behind the noise and bustle of a town or city of any size once you are on the cycle path again. The Doubs River and the Canal du Rhone au Rhine swept us out into the lush countryside once again on our way to Dole.
