      ... are just amazing and put most of us to shame. It was only in May this year that I struggled to do the 8kms Mothers Day Classic in Melbourne. We need to all get our there and start exercising.

      Nicole and David headed off to the heated spas in our hotel and Noel and I recuperated from a long day.

      ... was 2 hours 49 .. Great time . Caught him in the transition to the run ... 2 hours 11 minutes , he slowed up the last 4 kms . Total time ; 5 . 41 woo hoo . So happy that he finished, no incidents ... His bike was fine , no equipment mishaps . Tried to see him on the run but missed him. VIP lunch and wine and it's all very special . VIP viewing for the swim and I am so close I get splashed! VIP breakfast and coffee and I'm thinking that ...

      ... worth a couple of millions dollars at this stage. I will try to remember to put up on the blog an empty shot, half full shot and a full shot. It is pretty amazing to see the difference.

      We then headed to Smoke's Poutinerie Tremblant for Poutine for lunch. This is a typical Canadian ski resort dish consisting of fries, cheese curds and gravy. Noel and I went for the basic but David had the Poutine bacon burger which had the same as ours plus bacon, mince meat ...

      ... the hotel some time. The hype around the race is full on. Lots of speeches about the 'journey' the 'commitment' and the spectators get a special mention as well... Which is nice. Full blown north American enthusiasm which is pretty special. I am so proud of him and so happy that we get to do this together. ( not the race of course - the whole experience) it feels like we have been away a long time already and there's more to come yet..... Will keep you ...
